At Houdini Marine Windows, we offer the first Renolit (UPVC) condensation free boat windows for the marine market. The boat windows with plastic frames come in many different options and are also suitable as boat portlights. No matter which options you choose; you will experience many advantages!
The unique characteristics of our condensation free boat windows
Due to the plastic frames on these boat windows, the thermally insulated Renolit windows improve the warmth in a boat and prevent condensation. With the unique ‘click’ system, the high-quality fire retardant windows are easily installed without the need for screws. These synthetic window frames are suitable for structures that are between 4 and 8 millimetres thick, with a choice of frame colour and glass tint.
Frame Finish
The frames of the condensation free boat windows are fitted with a UV and salt water- and scratch-resistant Renolit coating. Because frames are an important element to the aesthetic look of your boat, we offer five different colours.

Glazing
Boat windows are generally glazed with toughened glass. They can be either single or double glazed (double glazed for fixed or hinged windows only). On occasions, acrylic is preferred. The acrylic in the Renolit condensation free boat windows has a hard coating applied to both sides of the window-pane to keep scratching to the minimum.

Window Style
Windows can be either fixed, hinged or sliding windows. The corners can be either radius (as shown), mitred or a combination of both.

The corners can be either radius (as shown above) or mitred, or a combination of both.
Options
Insect screens can be fitted in hinged and sliding windows. When opening these styles of windows, it is not necessary to remove the insect screens.

BOAT PORTLIGHTS
Our condensation free boat windows with plastic frames can also be used as portlights. Portlights are often mounted in sleeping areas, galleys or heads of a boat. These are all areas where a lot of condensation occurs. The advantage of the thermal bridge means that these portlights do not attract condensation. Our condensation free boat windows can either be fixed or hinged and are fully compatible with the traditional portlights. All portlights are fitted with PMMA plexiglass (acrylic). The frame comes in five colours (light grey, anthracite, cream, dark blue and black).

The boat portlights can be made with single or double glazed acrylic. They can be supplied with insect screens that remain in situ, even when closed. Rain hoods are also available.
