RENOLIT (UPVC) WINDOWS
Due to the plastic window frames, these thermally insulated Renolit windows improve the warmth in a boat and prevent condensation. With the unique 'click' system, the high quality fire retardant windows are easily installed without the need for screws. These synthetic window frames are suitable for structures that are between 4 and 18mm thick, with a choice of frame colour and glass tint.
The frames are fitted with a UV and salt water-resistant Renolit coating, which is also scratch-resistant. Frames are an important element to the aesthetic look of your boat, so we offer five colours.
Light Grey (Aluminium look)
Windows are generally glazed with toughened glass. They can be either single or double glazed (double glazed for fixed or hinged windows only).
On occasions acrylic is preferred. The acrylic in the Renolit window has a hard coating applied to both sides of the window-pane to keep scratching to the minimum.

Portlights are often mounted in sleeping areas, galley or heads of a boat, areas where a lot of condensation occurs. The advantage of the thermal bridge means that these portlights do not attract condensation.

“Our boat used to have aluminium portlights and these turned out to be a real water trap, particularly in autumn and spring! With these Renolit portlights there are only advantages – not a single drop of water on them, we can have double glazing and choose from various colours. The clamp system is much handier than those irritating rotary knobs. There are four clamps, which you can loosen very simply and allow the insect screens to remain in place”
Cor Baars from Numansdorp
They can be either a fixed or hinged and are fully compatible with the traditional portlights. All portlights are fitted with PMMA plexiglass (acrylic).
